Stations of the Cross – Fridays of Lent at 6 pm

Each Friday during Lent we are invited to come together as a faith community to pray the “Stations of the Cross.” We begin Stations around 6:00 pm following the 5:30 pm daily Mass. You are also welcome to join the school students for Stations at 2:35 pm (no school stations March 10).

The Stations of the Cross are a way to pray and meditate on Christ’s sacrifice for us. It is divided into fourteen stations from the time He was condemned to his burial. This devotion has been long encouraged by the church, and is especially meaningful during Lent and on Good Friday.

Weekday Adoration (M-F) 6:30-7:30 am

All are welcome to participate in Lenten weekday Holy Hours (M-F) from 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM in the church.  This will be offered every weekday through April 5. Come as often as you like for as long as you can, even if it’s just for a few minutes.

Adoration is a way to be present with the Lord and focus on actively listening to His word through prayer.  While it is true that you can pray to God anywhere and that He is always within you, it is especially powerful to adore Jesus in the Eucharist.  It is His body, blood, soul and divinity that is really, truly, and substantially present in the Eucharist.

There are many ways to approach prayer in the presence of the Eucharist. You might have a personal conversation with the Lord, pray the rosary, read scripture or use other adoration resources.
