Trunk or Treat
Friday-October 25 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Trunk or Treat will be held Friday, October 25th at St. John's in the south parking lot from 6-7:30pm! We will stop selling bags at 7:00pm so arrive early! The cost is $5 per treat bag, or $20 for a family with all proceeds going to HSA.
Marshall Dogs hotdog cart will be selling food outside if you want to skip cooking dinner!
To make Trunk or Treat a success,we need lots of Trunks! Please consider hosting a trunk with your family, business, club or church group! Prizes are awarded to the top 3 decorated trunks! St. John school families earn 10 volunteer hours for hosting a trunk.

Baptisms

St. John the Apostle Parish, 7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505, USABaptisms are the last Sunday each month at 1:00 pm. All parents are required to attend the Baptism instruction class if this is your first child to be baptized. The class meets on the Monday prior to Baptism Sunday in the Conference Room at 6:30 pm. Introducing “branches” ministry, a NEW format for high school ministry at St. John’s parish starting Fall 2024!
As a new format, we will be “branching off” into men’s and women’s groups to focus on rooting ourselves more intentionally onto Christ the True Vine. There are a variety of unprecedented topics that are present to high school students today which require a more deliberate focus on how men and women particularly are facing these matters. It has also been apparent that men and women have more intentional gatherings when surrounded by people of the same sex.
While our “branch” meetings will be weekly, our hope is to have monthly hangouts “on the Vine” where we will gather as men and women for fun social time and the opportunity for Confessions and Eucharistic Adoration.

Take a break while shopping and enjoy lunch or coffee and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11 am to 2 pm. The menu includes our delicious Sloppy Joes, chips, and a soft drink. A variety of delicious desserts will also be available.
