Opportunity to Give Back for Thanksgiving
The St. John’s staff will once again be doing a community service project for Catholic Social Services, and we need your help. We will be assembling 150 canvas totes (decorated by the students) full of Thanksgiving dinner groceries for the needy in Lincoln.
Parishioners are encouraged to bring money (cash or check made out to St. John’s Church) in a clearly marked envelope marked THANKSGIVING. Our goal is to raise $4000 to make these totes full. Any money left over will be given to CSS to add to the totes (Gift cards to grocery stores, turkey, ham).
